The healing garden

A children's storybook and interactive ward environment designed to help hospitalised children feel calmer and more confident during medical treatment. The story reimagines clinical procedures as elements within a healing garden, transforming unfamiliar equipment and experiences into friendly, reassuring encounters. Through soft watercolour illustrations, simple language, and environmental graphics placed throughout the ward, the project helps children understand what is happening around them, reducing anxiety and creating a more positive hospital experience.
